Prepare for your retreat
If you haven’t kited Hatteras yet, it should be on your list. Those that have, keep coming back.
70 miles long and 30 miles off the mainland, Hatteras can have consistent wind from all directions, offers waist-deep flat-water sound-side for miles, and world-class ocean-side waves. Twin-tip, directional, & foils are all used along with a wide range of kite sizes depending on forecast. Water temperature in October averages 72F, and air temp ranges from 75-60F.
Every day will be a water day, either kiting, surfing, SUPing, or motorized, so you’ll want to bring your extra energy reserves and a few swimwear options to cycle through. Once you book, we’ll send you more complete details.
